ThinkProp will launch the globally recognized CCIM commercial real estate programme in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in Sept 2026, enhancing expertise in UAE’s commercial property sector.
ThinkProp, a UAE-based real estate training institute founded by Advanced Real Estate Services (ADRES), is set to introduce the CCIM Designation Programme within the UAE for the very first time. Starting September 2026, this initiative will provide commercial real estate professionals across Abu Dhabi and Dubai with access to one of the most prestigious international qualifications in the industry.
The CCIM designation has a rich history spanning more than 56 years and is held by over 13,000 experts in more than 30 countries worldwide. This professional credential dives deep into essential commercial real estate skill sets including financial analysis, market analysis, investment analysis, and user decision analysis.
ThinkProp’s CCIM programme aims to elevate the abilities of UAE commercial property professionals by delivering practical knowledge applicable to investment, advisory, transaction, and asset management roles. The inaugural cohort is expected to include up to 100 participants.
Participants will engage in four comprehensive classroom-based courses, each lasting four days and comprising 32 hours of instruction. The courses cover critical areas such as financial, market, user decision, and investment analysis. Candidates typically complete the entire programme—including the Core Concepts Review and a comprehensive 80-question examination testing their understanding—within approximately 12 months.
One of the programme’s key strengths is its accessibility: there are no admission prerequisites or interviews, allowing all interested professionals to enhance their commercial real estate expertise. Instruction will be delivered by accredited CCIM instructors alongside seasoned ThinkProp experts including senior executives and CEOs within the UAE real estate sector.
Jasem Alhosani, Operations Lead at ThinkProp, highlighted the significance of this development: “For the first time, professionals in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will have access to one of the industry’s most respected international qualifications through a structured programme delivered locally.”
He emphasized that this programme will empower professionals with stronger financial, analytical, and investment acumen, thereby supporting the sustained growth of the UAE’s commercial real estate market.
The launch of the CCIM Designation Programme through ThinkProp represents a major stride in real estate education within the UAE. It underscores a commitment to expanding access to world-class training and fostering specialised talent capable of meeting the evolving demands of the commercial property market. For real estate agents and brokers, this means opportunities to upgrade their advisory capabilities, deepen market insights, and better serve investors and clients in a competitive marketplace.
Agents and firms should consider encouraging commercial sector professionals to pursue this designation to enhance credibility and expertise, ultimately driving higher performance across the UAE’s dynamic real estate landscape.
