Arada expands into Gold Coast, Australia, with a Dh5 billion twin-tower residential development of 952 homes, targeting completion before the 2032 Olympics.
UAE-based property developer Arada is making a significant push into the Australian market with its newest project in Broadbeach, Gold Coast. Valued at Dh5 billion, this large-scale residential development will feature 952 homes, marking the group's first venture outside New South Wales.
The development consists of twin residential towers comprising a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Designed by Plus Studio, the towers will be linked by a landscaped podium offering a host of lifestyle amenities. Residents can expect access to pools, fitness and wellness areas, communal terraces, private dining rooms, a library, lounge zones, and work-from-home spaces.
In addition to residential facilities, approximately 1,200 square metres of the ground-floor podium space will be allocated for retail and hospitality outlets. This mix aims to create a vibrant community hub, conveniently situated opposite the Gold Coast Convention Centre and with direct access to the light rail system. Key attractions such as The Star Gold Coast and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre are within walking distance, enhancing livability and convenience.
The development is planned for completion ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, positioning it to benefit from the influx of visitors and heightened regional activity. Construction will be managed by Roberts Co, a tier-one contractor that Arada acquired in 2025. This acquisition allows Arada to maintain control over both development and construction, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Arada's Chief Executive, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, emphasized that having Roberts Co onboard enables the group to meet buyer expectations with greater efficiency and accountability. "Delivering this project through Roberts Co, our own tier-one construction business, means we can bring the quality, pace and accountability that our buyers expect," he stated.
The Broadbeach project represents Arada's most substantial commitment in Australia to date, expanding its portfolio that began growing in 2024. Currently, Arada has assembled a pipeline of eight projects totaling more than 5,000 homes across the country. South East Queensland, where Broadbeach is located, is identified as a strategic market for the group's ongoing Australian expansion.
Arada’s international expansion highlights the growing global footprint of UAE developers and signals opportunities for Dubai real estate agents to tap into cross-border investment trends. The company’s integrated development and construction model via Roberts Co sets a benchmark for quality and delivery that agents can highlight to prospective buyers interested in reputable international projects. Agents should stay informed about such developments, as they reflect increasing investor interest in both local and global markets.
